If you haven’t heard, there has been some recent drama regarding one of the hottest new tokens, SUSHI.
On September 7, only one week after establishing the project, Chef Nomi, SushiSwap’s creator, reportedly drained the 38,000 Ethereum development fund of the project and passed ownership to Sam Bankman-Fried of FTX.

Today, he has shown a change in tune.
To everyone. I fucked up. And I am sorry.

SUSHI founder Chef Nomi has apologized for dumping over $14 million of his SUSHI.
In addition, he has returned all of his funds to the community. Most were shocked by the unexpected and unpredictable recovery of assets from the famous “SUSHI Dump.”
A Change in Tuna
On Twitter, many users have forgiven him and sympathize with his plight. Others doubt the motives behind the charitable gesture.
Nomi O-Fish-ally Returning
Only time will tell if Chef Nomi will re-establish his long-term credibility. As he is guarded by the mask of anonymity, it might not even be worth it for him at this point.
The developer plans to continue working on SushiSwap, under the leadership of Bankman-Fried. So far, we have heard that he will not take any part in governance.
