Justin Sun, Tron blockchain founder, has actively tried to persuade Ethereum users and developers to migrate to Tron.
A Blockchain Built for DeFi?
At the LA Blockchain Summit, Sun claimed that Tron is indeed a stronger DeFi blockchain compared to Ethereum. His value proposition is that it does the same things. Just better.
Sun argues that Tron’s alleged superior scalability and lower processing costs render today’s DApp ecosystem at its highest efficiency.
Tron Whitepaper Claims
Tron whitepaper claims that the delegated-proof-stake method of the blockchain network will accommodate 2,000 transactions per second, dwarfing Ethereum’s approximate 15 transactions per second.
However, Tron’s technology has continually been questioned throughout the lifecycle of TRX. Alleged claims of plagiarism have plagued Tron since its inception.
What do you think? Should Ethereum stay the go-to DApp environment or should users think about switching to Tron?
