This morning, 45,671 Bitcoin ($602 million) and 43,185 Bitcoin ($570 million) left a Xapo account to two other Bitcoin wallets.
That’s more than $1.1 billion in Cryptocurrency, with just a $3.54 transaction charge.
Though the funds were sent from the same account, they went to two separate unknown addresses.
Some of the Largest Bitcoin Transactions Ever
It’s not uncommon to for large amounts of Bitcoin to be sent Xapo wallets, but this specific dwarfs many other transactions.
These two transactions actually do not have the honor of being the largest BTC transaction of all time.
The honor goes to a BTC transaction of 550,000 created by the Mt. Gox exchange on November 16, 2011. At the point, worth $1.32 million, the amount of Bitcoin might have been liquidated today for more than $7 billion.
